He has released music on big dance labels such as Deadmau5's Mau5trap, and Armin Van Buuren's Armada Music. i_o's vision was to release a three part album over time, instead of one collection of songs. This would be known as Project 444. The first part, entitled ACID 444 was inspired by the early techno scene. The sound of the Roland TB-303 blasts through the four tracks of the album. Part 2 entitled NRG 444 pays homage to the rave scene that came from the UK. Inspired by underground warehouse parties, NRG 444 was faster, more driven, and more blown out than Part 1 of Project 444. Early in 2020, i_o released Part 3 entitled AM 444 with vocals by Lights. Inspired by the Deadmau5 records of the early 2000's, AM 444 is the beauty behind the three part series. It has full vocal sections, melodic breakdowns, and vibey progressive drops. Since then i_o released multiple EP's further showing his appreciation to techno, rave, acid and progressive music. Just this past week he released a fresh new mix to the trance classic Castles In The Sky by Ian van Dahl.
The world has been blessed with a large discography of i_o's music that will live on forever. Some of my favorite tracks include Rave444 off of the Acid 444 album and Let Me Go which was made with Tommy Trash and vocalist Daisy Guttridge. Check out some of Heartbeat Lyfe's favorites in the links below. Rest In Peace i_o.
